Big Horn Armory is known for its big-bore firearms and is now launching its AR500 Next Gen series. Available as a complete upper assembly or the new AR500 Next Gen Pistol, this line builds on the legacy of the original AR500 Rifle to deliver more power and versatility for discerning shooters and professionals.

The AR500 Next Gen complete upper assembly allows users to transform their existing AR10 lower into an AR500 rifle. Using a non-proprietary DPMS-style upper, this kit includes everything needed to experience the power of the AR500. Using modified SR25 magazines, the assembly is both compatible and highly customizable. The kit features a complete assembled upper, an 18-inch barrel, adjustable gas block, muzzle brake, M-Lok hand guard, bolt carrier group, buffer and buffer spring, along with a five-round magazine.

“Whether you’re hunting big game or preparing for tactical scenarios, the Next Gen complete upper assembly allows you to tap into the unparalleled power of the 500 Auto Max with the AR10 platform you already own,” said Greg Buchel, Owner of Big Horn Armory.

For those seeking power in a more compact format, there is the AR500 Next Gen Pistol that is chambered in 500 Auto Max. The pistol offers the strength of the original AR500 Rifle in a maneuverable and portable design. With its 10-inch barrel and compact AR platform, the AR500P is ideal for close-quarter use and rapid response scenarios.

The 500 Auto Max cartridge is a rimless version of the 500 S&W Magnum round. This versatile cartridge accommodates bullets ranging from 350 up to 700 grains, making it suitable for applications ranging from precision shooting to stopping large game animals.

Big Horn Armory’s AR500 Next Gen series is now available. The MSRP for the complete upper assembly is $1,200, and the Next Gen pistol has an MSRP of $2,599. There is also a full rifle configuration coming soon. Visit bighornarmory.com for more information on Big Horn Armory or the AR500 Next Gen series of firearms.
