Jacksonville, AL, based Bear and Son Cutlery is releasing the new Bold Action AC 1500 AIBK B Automatic Pocket Knife. This knife, along with other automatic knives is part of a new wave of premium blade releases from Bear and Sons Cutlery.

The new Bold Action AC 155 AIBK B Automatic Pocket Knife is part of the Bear Auto Bold Action XIV product series. This knife features a reverse tanto blade made from 14C28N Sandvik steel. Knife enthusiasts might recognize the reverse tanto blade profile as being reminiscent of the traditional Wharncliffe blade profile, where the top line drops doing and meets the bottom edge into a very fine point. A button is used to deploy this blade, and Bear and Sons has fashioned their Bear OPS system to also have a locking mechanism that doubles as a safety feature in order to prevent any unnecessary blade deployments.

  • Blade Hardness: 58 – 60 Rockwell
  • Blade Length: 3 1/8 inches
  • Blade Profile: Reverse tanto
