Barrett REC7 Rifle

Barrett Firearms is bringing back the REC7 AR-15 pattern rifle. Barrett Firearms first introduced this AR-15 chambered in 5.56 NATO back in 2016 and put its production on hold while the Tennessee based gunmaker completed the work on its military-focused MK 22 production contract.

The Barrett REC7 is a mid-length direct gas impingement AR-15 rifle that is built with a cold hammer forged, chrome lined 16-inch barrel. The barrel is shrouded by an M-LOK compatible handguard that Barrett Firearms designed in house. Many of the Barrett REC7’s other components or parts originate from well-respected sources within the industry such as the ALG Defense QMS trigger or the Magpul supplied CTR stock and supplied P-mags.

Bryan James, President of Barrett, expressed his excitement regarding the return of the REC7 DI, stating, "We are thrilled to be able to offer the REC7 DI once again to our customers. This rifle embodies the legacy of quality and reliability that the Barrett name represents. We are confident that shooters will once again appreciate the exceptional performance and craftsmanship of the REC7 DI. Available in 5.56 NATO, every REC7 DI is hand-built one at a time, inspected, and tested to ensure it delivers the performance you expect from the Barrett name.”
