As can be deduced from its name, this suppressor is suitable for 8.6mm (.338 caliber) rifles such as the .338 Lapua Mag, a mainstay caliber in extreme long range shooting applications. Despite the Yankee Hill Machine’s Bad Larry diameter, the silencer itself is multi-purpose and suitable for long-distance competition, hunting or tactical/military applications.
The Bad Larry silencer is built from 17-4 PH stainless steel and a Stellite blast baffle to make sure that the unit holds up to hard use and extreme heat generated by the firing of magnum rifle cartridges. Besides its 8.6mm diameter, the Bad Larry isn’t just limited to .338 caliber cartridges like the Lapua, the 8.6 Blackout or the .338 Federal Magnum. Yankee Hill Machine designed the Bad Larry to also work with other popular rifle cartridges like .300 Win. Mag, 6.5 Creedmoor, 6.5 PRC, 7mm PRC, .300 PRC and others.
Yankee Hill Machine offers the Bad Larry at a starting price of $930. For more information on the Bad Larry .338 magnum rifle suppressor or other products offered by Yankee Hill Machine Co, please visit the company's website at www.yhm.net.
