Armasight has just unveiled a brand-new, handheld mini-thermal monocular, the Armasight Sidekick 640 Thermal Monocular.
The Armasight Sidekick 640 is a compact, but full-featured, multi-functional 12 micron 640 thermal imaging monocular device. It only weighs 348 grams and makes use of Aramsight’s Iron Wolf thermal technology and a very fast 60 Hz frame rate. This compact handheld device presents a 1024 x 768 pixel OLED resolution display to the viewer and works off of a three-button control scheme. Owing to its small size, the handheld Sidekick 640 can also be mounted to a headset or helmet via its integral mini rail.
This feature-rich Armasight product has the ability to capture images, record video, stream videos and talk to other tech gadgets and computers via its USB-C interface. Likewise, users can stream content captured on the Sidekick 640 through their computer monitors or television sets.
