1791 OLG Retro Military Holsters

1791 Outdoor Lifestyle Group (OLG) is now offering two new “retro” USGI military service pistol holsters: A reproduction of the classic GI Hip Holster that is meant for M1911 pistols and a reproduction of the M3 Tanker Holster, used by American tankers and other vehicle-borne fighters during the Second World War. 1791 OLG offers both of these historic replica holsters to fit single stack .45 caliber government-sized 1911s along with guns that adhere to the original 9mm Browning Hi Power pattern, such as the Springfield Armory SA-35. Both the 1791 OLG GI Hip Holster and the M3 Tanker Holster include the iconic “US” embossment on the holster flap and can be hand in the classic tanned brown leather hue or in black.

The G.I. Hip Holster is a modern replica of the classic military flap-style leather holster that mirrors every detail of the original. Designed for versatility, it features hooks for a standard G.I. web belt and slots for a standard duty belt, complete with a leather thigh strap. The G.I. Hip Holster blends historical authenticity with contemporary craftsmanship, making it perfect for collectors and practical use alike.

The M3 Tanker Holster is a classic cross-draw shoulder holster design, using a single strap to secure the pistol over the shoulder and across the body. Designed for the Government 1911, the M3 Tanker Holsters keeps the pistol under the off-hand arm for an easy crossbody draw. The holster’s adjustable “over the shoulder” strap ensures optimal comfort and fit. With an over the back retention strap and original style snap system, the M3 Tanker Holster keeps firearms secure.

1791 OLG’s new US military replica service pistol holster series have a starting retail price of $99. To learn more about these or other holsters and gear from 1791 OLG, visit 1791gunleather.com.
