We detailed the Caldwell AR Magazine Charger a while back, and it's only natural that the company has decided to expand the charger product line to include AK magazines.

Designed to the same specifications as the AR Mag Charger, the AK Mag Charger also holds 50 rounds of 7.62x39 mm ammunition for loading into 20-, 30-, 40- and even 50-round magazines or drums. It's a multi-step process just like the AR charger: 1. Load ammunition into the charger; 2. Attach the magazine to the charger; 3. Depress plunger to load 5 rounds; 4. Repeat as needed.

Constructed of durable polycarbonate, the Caldwell AK Mag Charger is designed for use with all polymer and metal AK magazines. With practice, a standard 30-round magazine can be loaded in approximately 5 seconds (not counting the time needed to load the rounds into the charger, of course). The only notable difference in operation between the AR charger and the AK charger has to do with the curvature of the magazines. With the 30-round AK magazines, the unit has to be positioned over an edge, whereas AR magazines can be loaded on any flat surface.

MSRP: $99.99.
