For 2016, Browning added two new models to its line of shrunken 1911s chambered in .380 ACP. Both models are designated as the 1911-380 Black Label Pro, but one comes with the option of a frame rail for accessory attachments.

Both models come with three-dot combat sights or night sights made from steel. Grips on both options are constructed from G-10 composite. The barrel measures 4.25 inches long and includes a target crown. Both options come with extended ambidextrous thumb safeties as well as an extended slide release and beavertail grip safety.

Both handguns have a magazine capacity of 8 rounds. The overall weight is 17.5 ounces with an overall length of 7.5 inches. Like the other models in the 1911-380 line, the Black Label Pro options are scaled down to fit the .380 ACP cartridge. The guns come out at an overall size that is 15 percent smaller than a standard 1911.

The Browning 1911-380 Black Label Pro with 3-dot sights retails at a suggested price of $799.99. With night sights, the retail price increases to $879.99. The Black Label Pro with a rail and 3-dot sights retails for $829.99. With optional night sights, that price jumps to $909.99.
