Nosler has an impeccable reputation when it comes to the manufacturer of bullets. Its hunting bullets are second to none and some of the company's pistol bullets are used inside a sabot for muzzleloaders. The 135-grain Nosler JHP bullet used by DoubleTap in this .40 S&W load created massive destruction inside the gelatin block and penetrated to what I consider to be an optimum—10.75 inches. Though the expanded diameter was not that wide, the soft construction of this bullet combined with its high impact velocity ensures massive tissue destruction. This ammo fed flawlessly through a Glock 22.
