BPI Outdoors and Bergara Rifles are working together to produce the new Premier Competition Rifle. This gun is the most accurate and highest-performing production class PRS style rifle that Bergara makes. The gun can be paired with your optic of choice, making the Bergara Competition Rifle competition-ready, right out of the box.

The gun starts with a 26-inch, #7 profile stainless steel competition Bergara barrel for a stiffer, more stable barrel that takes longer to heat up and then doesn't walk as fast after it heats up. The barrel is paired with a Bergara Premier action and comes in popular competition calibers such as 6 mm Creedmoor with 1:7.5-inch twist and in 6.5 Creedmoor with a 1:8-inch twist.

Damon Bungard, BPI Outdoors Senior Marketing Manager stated, “As a brand known for our precision barrels, it’s natural for our customers to want to compete with our guns. We’ve been hearing their requests for a purpose-built platform that addresses the specific needs of competitive shooters, and we wanted to build the best offering we could for Production class PRS style shooters. We’ve teamed up with the best in the business to make the Premier Competition Rifle that win-win reality.”

Additional features include the Arca-Swiss rail for easy and fast adjustments. The 3-in-1 rail has a screw hole for your common camera tripod adaptor. The Arca-Swiss rail also allows you to easily slide your gun back and forth, and if you have a Picatinny bipod, mounting and adjusting of accessories that use that system are seamless.

Bergara’s Trigger Tech partnership makes use of the patented Frictionless Release Technology to increase performance and accuracy for the end-user by eliminating creep and heavy trigger pulls.
