The 6 mm ARC cartridge delivers substantially better ballistics than the .223 Rem. and offers a much lighter gun/ammo system for AR-15 pattern firearms. With long-range performance that meets or exceeds the performance of the .308 Win. round in an AR-10 style gun, but with substantially less weight than the AR-10/.308 Win. platform. The 6 mm ARC uses a balanced application of cartridge, chamber and propellant design coupled with bullet selection for optimum all-range performance and barrel life, along with excellent terminal performance from an assortment of bullets for a variety of applications.

Now RCBS, a leading manufacturer of ammunition reloading equipment for rifles and pistols, is shipping the 6 mm ARC SB T/C Die Set, a new addition to the AR Series Dies line for users of progressive reloading presses.

“AR-15 fans are fired up about the versatility and performance of the 6 mm ARC cartridge,” said Jason Slinkard, Director of Shooting Accessories for Vista Outdoor. “This die set is a great example of how we are always working to anticipate customer demand and bring new dies to the market as needed.”

The 6 mm ARC SB T/C Die Set is specially designed for the versatile new 6 mm ARC cartridge, which uses efficient, high ballistic coefficient (BC) bullets to deliver top performance from AR-15 rifles. Each die set features a Small Base sizing die that sizes the case to slightly below minimum specifications to ensure each round chambers in an AR-style rifle, and a Taper Crimp seating die that puts the correct crimp on the case. This combination of dies helps make reloading easier for shooters and ensures the cartridge will rechamber properly.

All AR Series Dies carry the RCBS lifetime warranty. More information on the new 6 mm ARC SB T/C Die set can be found at rcbs.com.
