The new DBX 5.7 pistol from Diamondback Firearms is a one-of-a-kind semi-automatic pistol, chambered in 5.7x28 mm. The compact DBX 5.7 is just the thing if you want a little more than your daily carry pistol, but don’t need the space and weight of a full-sized carbine. The DBX 5.7 has an 8-inch barrel, a standard AR-15 mil-spec trigger and a Magpul MOE-K grip. It is built with a hard coated and anodized 7075 aluminum frame and a 6061 aluminum handguard. The pistol includes a DBX muzzle device to help keep your sights on-target, and a Magpul Handstop kit. The pistol comes with a 20-round magazine and is compatible with magazines for other popular handguns chambered in 5.7x28 mm.

“Diamondback Firearms has worked hard to offer not only a new and different product, but something truly innovative for shooters to enjoy,” says Kaley Cox, Marketing Director for Diamondback America. “We are very excited to bring our customers the DBX 5.7 and introduce them to something beyond the traditional pistol or carbine on the market.”

The Diamondback DBX 5.7 also comes equipped with a rear picatinny mounted, side-folding brace. With the brace extended, it has an overall length of 25.4 inches, making it easy to maneuver in close quarters, and folded, it is just 16.1 inches long, allowing it be easily carried around in a compact bag or case. With the stock extended, it has a slim profile of just 1.25 inches and weighs a mere 3 pounds unloaded and without the brace.

The Diamondback DBX 5.7 will be available in May 2020, with a projected MSRP of $1,299. More information on this pistol and other Diamondback products is available at diamondbackfirearms.com.
