One of the most-recognizable pistols made today, the Magnum Research Desert Eagle is available in a range of finish options designed to appeal to a broad range of consumers, from durable, matte-black finishes to the flashy, gold-plated look that makes the gun really stand out on the range. To these already extensive finish options, Magnum Research added a new finish in the form of its "White Tiger," playing off the tiger-striped look already available in black and gold finishes.

This new finish option on the White Tiger Desert Eagle is created by machining the gun with a stainless-steel frame and slide and then alternating between matte and polished surfaces along the surface, creating a distinctive, tiger-striped look. The new model is available in either .44 Mag. or .50 AE, and all Magnum Research Desert Eagles are made in the USA.

Developed more than 35 years ago, the Magnum Research Desert Eagle has been featured in countless films, TV shows, video games and other media, leading to its position as one of few guns that are instantly recognizable across the globe. The unique, gas-operated semi-automatic action operates similarly to many of today's modern sporting rifles, with propellant gases redirected from the barrel into a cylinder below the barrel. The redirected gases drive the slide rearward, unlocking a four-lug bolt that's similar to the design used on the modern-day AR-15.

The latest variant of this famous pistol, the Mark XIX, can be had in a variety of finishes, with .357 Mag., .429 DE, .44 Mag. and .50 AE available as chamberings. The classic .50 AE Desert Eagle features more than 10 different finish options, and the gun is equipped with an ambidextrous safety lever, frame-mounted Picatinny accessory rail, a Picatinny optics rail running along the top of the barrel, recoil-reducing rubber grips and an available integrated muzzle brake. The White Tiger Desert Eagle ships with this integrated muzzle brake that tops a barrel measuring 6 inches in overall length. The suggested retail price on the new White Tiger model is $2,254.
