A vertical grip on your rifle, especially an AR-pattern rifle, can be a handy addition that can stabilize your shooting and improve your accuracy. A vertical grip works well as a reference point to position your hand in precisely the same location each time. This allows you to attach lights, lasers or activation switches to your rifle and know that you’ll be able to access them the first time, every time.

There are many different ways to add a vertical grip to your rifle, including the ever-present Picatinny rail system, but has proven to be a bit heavy in everyday use. In recent years, however, Magpul’s M-Lok system has risen to the top as a lighter alternative to the Picatinny rail, since it can attach directly to purpose-built M-Lok slots machined into a handguard's circumference, reducing the amount of material required to attach accessories.

Samson Mfg. introduced four new M-Lok Vertical Grip design in 2019, all featuring a completely black finish. The new grips come in Grenade, Golf Ball, Spiral, or Fluted designs to complement your rifle or carbine and add style in addition to function. Built with an anodized aluminum body and completed with all-steel attachment components, they are an excellent choice for people who demand a bit more from their gear when it matters the most.

Samson Mfg. M-Lok Vertical Grips are available in short and medium lengths, measuring 2.125 and 3.5 inches, respectively. The grips are machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and are treated with a Type III hard-coat anodized finish.

MSRP on the new Samson Vertical Grips starts at $55 for the short lengths and $57 for the medium lengths. For more information, visit samson-mfg.com.
