Uncle Mike's announced the launch of its direct-to-consumer website in the fall of 2019, giving firearm enthusiasts an opportunity to skip the middleman and order holsters, bags, cases, belts, slings, swivels and other gear straight from the company for the first time in its history.

Founded in 1947, Uncle Mike's set out to provide hunters and shooters with the gear they needed to fully participate in the outdoors, and that mission only expanded with its incorporation into the Vista Outdoor line of companies. The company's gear options are among the most affordable on the market, giving budget-minded shooters the ability to get the kit they need for personal defense, hunting and participation in the shooting sports.

One of the highlights found on the new Uncle Mike's website is the Holster Selector tool, a menu located on home page that allows shooters to dial-in the holster they need by answering a few simple questions. First, users enter the brand of firearm they have, followed by the model. Once that's entered, the website gives you numerous carry positions and holster-construction options, enabling gun owners to find the available Uncle Mike's holster that works for the carry method they find most comfortable.

Another menu option found on the Uncle Mike's homepage is the inclusion of a New Products page, so consumers can browse the latest and greatest from the company. Once a product is selected, Uncle Mike's provides a number of high-resolution images, particularly of available holsters, in order to better-inform visitors of their product selection. Though past Uncle Mike's websites had information regarding the company's product line, potential buyers had to click over to other internet retailers or visit a brick-and-mortar store to purchase Uncle Mike's gear. Now, consumers can hit the "Add to Cart" button without having to waste time finding a retailer!
