Steiner is one of the most-respected names in optics, producing high-quality binoculars, rifle scopes, electronic sights and optics accessories with European-inspired engineering and field-tested ruggedness. New for 2019 is the DRS1X Reflex Sight, featuring three interchangeable reticle options for maximum flexibility. The three reticle options, a 2-MOA dot and dot-and-stadia line, are selected with tactile control buttons on the top of the sight, as are the brightness options for the sight. The dot stadia line and close dot provide built-in rapid target ranging and engagement at seven, 25, 50 and 100 yards.
A .96-inch X 1.26-inch window and integrated Picatinny rail mount allows users to co-witness the DRS1X with iron sights or use the sight with a focal multiplier for added accuracy at longer ranges. The sight is windage and elevation adjustable, with adjustments of 1/2 MOA that can be adjusted up to 50 MOA each.
A magnesium body and completely sealed design ensures the reliability of the DRS1X under the most challenging circumstances, and its rugged design allows it to be submerged in up to five meters of water. The DRS1X can run on a single AA battery if needed and when using two AA batteries, it has more than 2,000 hours of run time. The site features auto brightness for quick, easy target acquisition and and seven manual illumination levels to allow operators to find the perfect brightness level day or night.
