To guard against impact, the Pathfinder SE phone case is tested to MIL STD 810G 516.6 drop-test standards, required by the military when impact-testing gear for field use. Despite this heavy-duty protection, case designers also preserved the accessibility and usability of the platform, building in oversized push buttons and easy-access slots for charging and input ports. The protective lip on the front face of the phone is also specially contoured to prevent impeding touchscreen operation.
