Colt announced the introduction of the company's first production double-action revolver in nearly 20 years with the Cobra in .38 Spl. +P.

The new Colt Cobra features a stainless-steel frame and a Linear Leaf mainspring design designed to ensure a smooth, consistent trigger pull. Colt also redesigned a number of ergonomic features on the gun, including the Hogue overmolded grip and the trigger in order to fit a wide range of hands and also enable the gun to be easily used with gloves.

The Cobra has a six-round cylinder and a 2-inch six-groove barrel with a 1:14 left-hand rate of twist. The gun features an overall length of 7.2 inches and an overall height of 4.9 inches. The width of the cylinder is 1.4 inches, and the total weight of the Cobra is 25 ounces. The gun features a red fiber-optic front sight with a frame trench for sight alignment.

The suggested retail price for the Colt Cobra is $699.
