Watch: Mossberg Shockwave Shotgun

For 2017, Mossberg now offers consumers a 14.5-inch barreled shotgun--while still obeying NFA regulations--for easy maneuverability. The company achieved this by adding a birdshead grip, called the Raptor, to the rear of the shotgun right at the factory, having never added a stock to the firearm.

According to the ATF, this means that the gun does not fall underneath NFA regulations for a shotgun, since it never had a stock. Thus, the barrel can be shorter than the mandated 18 inches for a shotgun. Take a look at the details in our video above to learn more.
