Mission First Tactical, a company known for its line of AR-15 accessories, expanded its product line to include handgun holsters with the introduction of the MFT OWB Holster.

"The addition of a handgun holster line is a natural progression from our rifle/carbine accessories, since tactical operators also carry a backup handgun in addition to a rifle platform," said Gordon Edelman, president of MFT. "We at MFT wanted to make certain that the holsters complemented our other accessories in design, material and functionality. Using the latest high-tech materials and production methods, our new holster line has all the fit, feel and performance one expects from MFT."

MFT worked with a team of advisers and designers to develop holsters, with the aim that these holsters would exceed the capabilities of other holsters on the market. Through evaluation and testing, the company selected Boltaron as the material for its holsters.

According to the company, Boltaron offered uniform wall thickness and increased resistance to impacts, scratches, chemicals, stretching and wear. Boltaron is claimed to have 10 times the impact resistance of standard plastics, and the material is also fire-retardant. The material resists cracking in extreme cold and resists deforming in extreme heat.

Each MFT OWB holster is made in the USA and will debut at SHOT Show 2017. The suggested retail price is $69.99.
