In a surprisingly bold move, SIG Sauer Ammunition has introduced .38 Super to its product line. Joining stalwarts like .380 ACP, 9 mm and .45 ACP, this new (old) round brings the hot rod from the 1930s into the modern era.

Manufactured to the same exacting standards as the rest of SIG's ammo line, the .38 Super offering is available as a +P variant with a 125-grain full metal jacket bullet. The copper jacket is designed to stay with the lead core once fired, and clean-burning powders are chosen to reduce fouling during practice.

Whether you've got a vintage Colt 1911 or a new EAA Witness, having more ammunition choices is always a good thing. In addition to providing more options, it allows more complete testing to find the best-suited fodder for your firearm.

MSRP: $33.22 for 50-round box.
