Crimson Trace Releases New Laserguard Pro

Crimson Trace released the new Laserguard Pro, a light and red-laser-sight combination (model number LL-801) designed specifically for Smith & Wesson’s Shield semi-auto pistol. The advantages of this product include: ease of operation with Crimson Trace’s Instinctive Activation, ease of transferring between modes, secure attachment on the pistol’s trigger guard, and a singular optic design incorporating the laser sight and bright light. The product will be avaialable in all channels in Q2 with an Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price of $279. 

Crimson Trace’s new  Laserguard Pro LL-801 is a new product category for the company and incorporates an easy-to-notice red laser diode coupled with a powerful 150-Lumen LED white light. The advanced skills of Crimson Trace’ in-house engineering section resulted in the creation of the new Laserguard Pro—the industry’s most durable light and laser sight combination. 

Sighted in for 50 feet accuracy in Crimson Trace’s state-of-the-art Wilsonville, OR, factory, this ultra lightweight and compact Laserguard Pro model can be easily adjusted (wrenches included) for windage and elevation. Other features include: Crimson Trace’s Instinctive Activation located under the handgun’s trigger guard along with an easy-to-locate mode switch to move the light and/or sighting laser through several options.  Those mode options include:

  • laser only
  • light only
  • laser and light
  • laser and light strobe.
     

A master on/off switch permits quickly turning the Laserguard Pro operation features off when wishing to conserve the CR2 Lithium battery’s power. The Laserguard Pro LL-801 is also covered under Crimson Trace’s popular Free Batteries for Life program that can save owners up to $50 across the product’s lifetime. This S&W Shield-focused product will fit both 9mm and .40 S&W caliber pistols. Holsters will be widely available from numerous manufacturers.
